Summary

These are quite possibly my all-time favorite running shoes. I ordered maybe three pairs in a row because "if it ain't broke, dont't fix it", right? They are affordable, lightweight, comfortable, and won't give you blisters.

Altra Altra Women's Rivera Road Running Shoes Review

I wore these for my first marathon last year. Leading up to the race, they were perfect for speed workouts and long runs. They are lightweight and nicely cushioned, so they work well for a variety of workouts. And you can't beat the price! I ordered this pair three times because they are just the best. But I finally switched things up for my 50k training this year because I desired a little more support (and it also bugged me that the shoelaces of this model came untied somewhat frequently). I did try the Rivera 2, but I found them to be a downgrade (the laces would untie every mile and they seemed to have less support). I am curious how the Riveras3 feels. But for now, I still highly recommend the original Rivera model.
