Summary

What a great race in the City of Manchester, NH. Two great options for distance, (10K or 10 Miler) and dog friendly. Out and back on a mostly paved rail-trail (some not on the 10Miler). Well supported small race. (220 runners) Socks for prizes!

Pros
  • Great medal
  • Treats the the dogs
  • Plenty of water
  • Running Socks as prizes for age groups
Cons
  • Could have used better signage for 10M, especially at the 4-5 mile mark.
  • Although there was plenty of water, it wasn't where the map planned it to be

Total Image Running 10M /10 Review

This was my second, and my wife's third race with Total Image Running.  All three have been great.  They are similar to those done by any local running club. Professional staff, plenty of volunteers, and they know what runners are looking for.  This race had Features, Balega, Pro Compression, Darn Tough, etc socks to choose from for the age group prizes.  My wife, overall first place winner for women got a bag of socks.  So many times we get weird prizes, certificates to local places you can't use, everyone there seem to be excited about getting a pair of running socks of their choice to choose from.

Dog Races

Check out that cool metal and awesome bandana!!
TI Bandanas!

This race was specifically chosen by my wife because the charity was a dog rescue.  Side note, the dog rescue had cool shirts for sale too.

We understand not all dogs like to run, there are some dogs that just love to run with a pack.  The crowd probably had 20 plus well mannered dogs enjoying their race.  Each water station had multiple dog bowls for the dogs!

Race Directior.

Meet the race director who wanted to take a picture with the first place dog, our Dio.  She said it was her first time race directing.  You could have fooled us all, from the runner's perspective, it seemed to just as flawless as the other Total Image running events.

Well organized bib pickup the day of. (It was also pre pick up which I did not witness). They started exactly on time. Has mentioned before plenty of water, although not in the exact spots they said. (Email said mile 2.2 it was  but the dog bowls made up for that as far as my dog and I are concerned!)

Well marked course for the 10K.   Report from a couple of the 10 mile runners, was it about my four and a half? It gets a little sketchy, but the turnaround was wel marked.  I would just throw some. "You're not lost signs" out there for next year.
