The Hunt Trail Race

The Hunt Trail Race is a perfect way to kickstart your 2023 Trail Race season. RunCody organizes another great event and accommodates seasoned or newbie runners. For runners wanting to start trail running, this is a great one to get your feet wet.

The course is well-marked with flags and course volunteers are all over the course to help runners not get lose, in case they are not paying attention to the flags. I would recommend no music so that you can pay attention to the course and listen to the wildlife.

There are heavy hills that you have to climb, along with steep slopes to go down. This will push you to your limits, but is a great way to earn your grit!

Great crowds that cheer you on and amazing swag!

Experience

2021: 16 Mile Champion: Set Course Record: 2:26:40. (Course broken in 2022 by another runner).
2022: 6 Mile Runner-Up: Ran Revel Mt. Charleston Full Marathon 7 days earlier to this.
