The Mach 4 for trail running. The comfort and smooth ride is way more noticable than the stiffness of the carbon fiber plates.

The best trail running shoes I’ve owned. Quick snappy response with the carbon fiber plate, extra grippy lugs, with the ever so comfy Hoka cushioning. My only complaints would be the laces. A little tough to untie, may just be the material.

Tectons are very responsive and helpful on long or fast pace runs. The plates save your legs sooo much. They can be less forgiving on roots and rocks than other shoes. 10/10 from me.

Cross between a trail shoe and the Hoka carbon x. It's not as grippy as their speed goat series, which I love even more, but excellent integration of the carbon plate. Carbon X is my go-to race shoe, The shoe is an excellent transition into trails.
