I bought these to still have zero drop but have a little more cushion. They feel good and have really liked running in them this year. Try the altras if you are looking for a natural foot to ground feel.

Great shoe, slightly more cushion than the Escalate so it's a little better with my herniated discs. It's very narrow compared to other shoes so consider going a half size up.

I love Altra shoes. Overall these didn't disappoint and are on par for the most part. One thing I'll note is they definitely run narrow, but the length is true to size so keep that in mind. I'd say the life of these are right around 350 miles.
