Durability is top notch, but to be expected from Garmin. The battery life, however, is what makes this watch stand above the rest. No other smartwatch have I owned that would get more than two days on a charge and this one easily gets a full week.
Great multifunction watch would be best for hiking and casual running. I am disappointed that Garmin does not add VO2 max capabilities to this watch even though it has a HR sensor. I am an avid runner and would like to have other running metrics.
I like the Garmin Instinct's create your own workout features and the sturdy design but I don't think the pace tracker is 100% accurate on runs. That is my only big complaint. The battery life is amazing though. I only charge it every 12-14 days.
Surprised that I liked this so much. Super long battery life, lots of options for activities, and I actually LIKE not having a touchscreen. Prefer over my Vivoactive 3
I have had this watch for a few years now. I got it as a gift to track my running. As you can see in the Pic, I am old and out of shape as I've gotten back into running. I do wish it had colors, and for some things it is not the most user friendly.
