This event was a nice flat course which I truly appreciated for my first marathon run!! The course was very well mapped out with water stations and snacks available along the way and volunteers to point you the right direction. I loved the smashing pumpkin tradition if you PR or if it’s your first time running the marathon! I’ll be attending again in the future!

Flat, fast race on paved Towpath through scenic fall trees. Several water / Gatorade stops but limited spectator access. Limited parking, porta potties,& post race snacks. Medal are small but nice however extra medal for running 2 races was missing.

This event is a flat course and there’s plenty of refreshments and volunteers in Halloween costumes along the way to guide you or help you if needed! Great first marathon course!
