This race gives runners of all backgrounds and ability levels the opportunity to experience the City of Scranton from a unique perspective. The course is predominantly roads/blacktop, with a small section of crushed stone trails, which provides a physiological and psychological respite at the perfect point late in the race! The crowd and spectators are the best !! It's a great race and not only do you get medal but you also get a commemorative blanket.
