We run in Memory of Robert “Bob” Smith. He passed away from health issues on May 10th, 2019. Bob was a huge inspiration to everyone he met. He was very active in the local running community. At the age of 77, he participated in countless races. The man always had a smile on his face and words of encouragement to any and everyone. He never met a stranger. He simply made the world a better place. In loving memory of him, we hold this event the first Sunday in March each year.

I may be biased as Bob was a friend. This is a local 5k and is well organized. Great flat and fast course in New Philadelphia. Great after party with plenty of food. They also have door prizes and awards. Indoor packet pick up and after party.
Organized indoor packet pick up / staging/ restrooms/ awards. Gun start, chip timing on a flat / fast well marked course. Volunteer / police presence for safety & water station. After party w/ snacks, door prizes, and awards
