Join the Friends of the Homeless of Tuscarawas County for a fun, family friendly bicycle ride on the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath.
Pedaling for a Purpose will be held Saturday, August 29th at Canal Lands Park, 8465 Dover-Zoar Road.
There will be two routes on the Towpath Trail: 6 miles and 25 miles, however, riders are welcome to pedal any distance they like. The event starts at 10:00 am and we will be on hand to support participants until 2:00 pm.
T-Shirts for the first 50 paid participants.
Children can ride for free if accompanied by adult, paid participant.
Water and refreshments will be available.
Ernie’s Bike Shop will be there to offer help and support.
Both routes are on the Towpath Trial, a crushed limestone trail suitable for most bikes.

Pedaling for a Purpose is my first bicycle event. It was very well organized and marked. The ride was 6-25 miles, basically any distance and pace starting at Zoar on the towpath. It was a beautiful day for a ride with husband and friends.
Family friendly bike ride on the scenic Towpath to support local families in need. Choose your distance and ride at your own pace out and back. Nice SS tees for the first 50 participants. Snacks, water, and hot lunch post ride.
