The Kent State Softball team will be hosting a fly ball 5K at the Kent State University Airport Nov. 2 at 8 a.m. The event is for runners or walkers of all ages and skill levels. Registrants will receive a uniquely-designed medal* and T-shirt. Information on packet pickup will be emailed to participants at a later date.

The Fly Ball 5K was a new race for 2024 held at the Kent State University Airport. It was a small race with 2 loop course on the runway. Well organized and a lot of fun. No doubt this race will grow in size for next year. I highly recommend! Continue Reading...

A very different race but a lot of fun! The course was a loop around the runway at the small airport. This was the inaugural race and I am hopeful they keep doing it. Great atmosphere and great cause supporting the softball program!

The race was fun, the parking and packet pickup was a breeze. Participants got a medal and shirt and the flat fast course was chip timed. Only thing that could have been done better is water on the course. Overall good race. Would do again!
