But plan ahead for transport to the start line at 5am. The race coordinator shut down the provided busses at like 430am....after waiting in line since 3:23am....so we had to get an Uber which was a bit of a hassle with 1000's of people behind us in line.

This was my 3rd Honolulu Marathon and I love it every time! Friendly atmosphere, great spectators, and lots of fun! Would definitely recommend this race to anyone.
Great well supported race... except for the start line transportation......but it was an amazing experience and would do it again.
Plus you finish right next to Waikiki Beach so after we just walked right into the beautiful ocean to cool off
