The expo had a lot of energy, race morning music rocked, they offered a hydration station and lots of port o potties. So many people out on the course cheering, plenty of hydration stops along the way and the energy at the finish was electric.
I loved the half marathon course and how you were able to see many different landmarks in Cleveland. The first part of the race was mostly downhill with a few hills near the middle. There was great crowd support and gorgeous medals.
I ran the half in 2019 and the race had made a ton of positive changes. Lots of water stops and support. I saw ample UH staff riding along the course to check on runners. Only wish the first aid booths had sunscreen for runners b/c it was sunny.
