The World's Race is Back in Los Angeles!
After two years of hosting our Los Angeles race series virtually, we're excited to be back in-person and ready to run in DTLA, starting at one of the most iconic entertainment venues in the City, LA Live! Bimbo Global Race will kick off directly across from the newly named Crypto.com Arena (where the LA Lakers, Kings, Clippers, play) and head out along the entirely empty city streets running throughout downtown L.A. finishing at the same starting point.
About Bimbo Global Race
This is our 8th edition to host our Global race which was created to unite participants across the World to compete together. Our Global race is for everyone: competitive runners, casual walkers, families, friends and everyday joggers looking to come out and participate in Bimbo's healthy, active lifestyle initiative. It is truly a global event; in 2016, Bimbo Global Race (formally known as Global Energy Race) broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the most 10K races held simultaneously worldwide on the same day!
In addition to this Global happening, Bimbo Bakeries is proud to partner with Feeding America and their local area food banks during the month of September (Hunger Action Month) to giveback during these times of need and support the local community. For every individual who participants in this year's race, Bimbo Bakeries will donate bread to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Every step helps feed someone in need.
