After taking six years off of running the Akron Marathon relay, this year I ran with Team ER as the anchor leg. The race is well organized and the crowd support along the blue line is amazing. I miss the days of finishing into the baseball stadium!

This race is always an excellent event. Great course with people cheering you on the whole way. The relay allows a group to pull together and get some fun miles. Great aid stations and a wonderful after party with music, food and beverages!

Akrons relay is a great time to say the least. Local brewery by the start line opens up at 5am for that last carbo old for the run. The race itself takes you all over the Akron downtown area. Many bands playing street side, plenty of aid-stations.
