Star Points:

Summer is coming! We finally get a break after months of staying up late to study, write papers, and take tests. But that doesn't mean we should spend the whole summer doing nothing, does it? It's great to work on yourself and try new things during the summer. For my part, I'm going to enjoy the nice weather by spending more time outside. To stay fit and get some sun, I want to start running in the morning (that is why I registered here). I've also been really into hiking lately, so I hope to check out some of the lovely trails near here. It feels so good to be outside and enjoy nature. That being said, it's not just about sports. During the summer, I also want to work on getting better at writing. As an English major, you need to be able to write well. The things I'm going to do are write more essays, read more books, and maybe even try writing creatively. I want to buy essays less and write them more myself. Who knows, maybe I'll find that I'm really good at writing poems or short stories! The key is to find a good mix between having fun and getting things done. We deserve to take it easy once in a while, but we shouldn't waste the whole summer. We can feel energized and successful when we go back to school in the fall if we spend even an hour or two a day working on ourselves. That's all I have planned for the summer! Getting better at writing, running, and climbing. How about you? What are your plans for the summer? I want to hear your thoughts! It's possible that we could go on a hike or learn together. If we set our minds to it, there are a lot of options. Have a great summer, everyone!
