Other Carb Boom Energy Gel Review

I tried these out on my 3hr trail run yesterday and really enjoyed them. The first one I tried was the banana peach and I wasn't sure how I felt about the texture at first. It almost reminded me of creamy peanut butter (but I really think that was my mind trying to focus on the trail and what I thought about the gel at the same time). It was very flavorful and not too sweet (a big thing for me). You got hints of salt within each taste and it went down really easily. I would recommend taking in water while consuming these gels, as the thickness can dry the mouth out a little bit. The other gel I tried was the apple cinnamon and I loved it! It was the perfect balance of apple, cinnamon, and salt! This one was less thick than the banana peach. They were both super flavorful and they didn't irritate my stomach at all. That's a problem I have with a lot of gel companies. I think I didn't have issues with because it is natural ingredients and actually not a lot of sugar, which I really like. I am now a fan of these gels and they'll be added to my rotation of gels for my endurance activities!
